  i have seen many threads about avatars, here is another one:.

  i have had this avatar for some time on another board.

  i was going to put a picture of myself in there, but decided against it, as i realized this picture has some symbolism to me.

  this may sound terribly ignorant, but i've seen references many times on this website to "bttt's" and i don't know what it means.

  i think it may have something to do with bringing old topics back to life?.

  I'm not sure to what you're referring. I've always found your posts very caring, warm and helpful . . . and in many instances, pretty funny. I don't think anyone took your comments the wrong way . . . at least I haven't.

  I dont pray anymore.

  i havent prayed in years.

  i quit praying while i was still going to meetings.

  i stopped praying when my elder ex would pack the kids in the car and say if i didnt go to the meeting then i wouldnt see them again.

  Our Ginger and Rainbow Bridge.... :(

  i have been remiss in posting any updates on my home situation, with my husbands health issues.

  and now, another stressful event has occured, and our beloved "ginger" (three year old cat) will be put to sleep on the 29th.. hubby has been undergoing test after test, and meanwhile has been admitted to the hospital here twice.

  the first time was related to the growth in his chest and his ventral hernia; the second time was due to a seriously infected cat bite.

  Bad Nitrous Trip . . .

  i just had the strangest experience at the dentist.

  i went to have a cavity filled and the dentist gave me nitrous - as usual.

  i have taken nitrous at the dentist many times with really good results.

  Thanks for the replies everyone. I don't think my dentist gave me too much nitrous. . . I've been going to him for years - never a problem before. He keeps a record of the levels he has given me in the past and he always uses the same amount. In fact, he brought it down to the lowest level possible, and that was still way too much for me. He's a very nice man and I really don't think he was trying to cover up.

  SpunkyChick, I did some research on the internet after my experience, trying to get information to help me understand what happened to me. I was surprised to find several websites that sell nitrous to the recreational user . . . however, it is illegal and I would never recommend illegal, recreational use of nitrous!
